Do you like to entertain friends and family during the holidays? Great; where’s my invite? Just teasing. However, nows a good time to remind all my valuable clients there is such a cause of action ( lawsuit) for social host liability. Of course you want to make sure your friends and family return home safely, but you could actually be held responsible for their megligence under certain circumstances. (1) Don’t let minors consume alcohol under your watch. It’s no no for which there are no exceptions.
